Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Growing up, she listened to classical music, old boleros in addition to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos, as well as operas and other dramatic types. Her mother taught her to sing, and she began singing through Flavio Belcerra in the age of 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. Following her move into America in the year 2000, she joined a chorus of United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before returning to her new home in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist in classical Latin American music at private concerts. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her love and enthusiasm for classic Latin American songs with others while she hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
